The Podere

The Podere Le Rane Felici is a late seventeenth-century Leopoldino farmhouse renovated with a conservative method while maintaining the roof with beams and bricks with the flooring of the common areas in terracotta. A warm parquet floor was chosen in the rooms.
The farmhouse, divided into six large and bright apartments (110/120 sq m) all independent, is located on a hill with a relevance of about two hectares of land with olive trees, oaks, native flora and open field. The hillock then opens its gaze towards the hills and cultivated fields. An accommodation is designed for the reception of disabled people.
It is the ideal place for peaceful holidays in the countryside for the whole family and an easy starting point for trips to the beautiful cities of art in Tuscany such as Pisa, Florence, Lucca, Livorno, San Gimignano, Vinci, Volterra or for walks surrounded by nature surrounding as in the nearby woods of Fauglia and Lari or a relaxing bath in our large seasonal swimming pool equipped with deck chairs and sun loungers.
Within a radius of about 12 kilometers, the railway stations of Pisa or Livorno, the “Galilei” International Airport of Pisa, the Rosignano-Genoa motorway which connects to the south with the white beaches of Rosignano and to the north with Viareggio are easily reachable. Forte dei Marmi and the Carrara marble quarries. With the Strada di Grande Comunicazione Fi-Pi-Li you can quickly get to Florence and its surroundings. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the beaches of Tirrenia or the famous cliff of Calafuria.
The Podere Le Rane Felici, while remaining quietly detached from the inhabited center, has riding stables, restaurants, supermarkets, shops in the immediate vicinity and allows you to enjoy a splendid starry sky in the evening.
